Belly Dance originated from the ethnic dances in the Middle East and North Africa. Dancing provides a good cardiovascular workout and helps increase both flexibility and strength including turning movements, hip shaking, followed by the mesmerizing motion of the abdomen combined flexibility of the ribs and chest. Belly Dance is suitable for all ages, body types and can be as physical as the participant chooses.
